Pope Francis wants to hear from you!
Pope Francis has called a gathering of bishops across the world (called a Synod) for October 2018 with the theme of Young People, the Faith, and Vocational Discernment. It will discuss how the Catholic Church can better support young people to live their faith and discern their mission in life. To help Pope Francis, the Diocese of San Bernardino has launched an online survey on June 1st and Bishop Barnes is asking all youth, young adults, parents, and anyone working with young Catholics to complete it. You can find the link of the survey in the bulletin. The deadline to take the survey is this Sunday July 23rd. We encourage you to take it and to share it with others. The information you provide in this survey will be confidential. Please know that the Catholic Church cares very much about what you think. So, please take your time to complete this survey so that you can answer accurately and honestly. We thank you in advance for your participation.

Parish Mission Statement:

We, the people of Saint John XXIII, are a multi-ethnic Roman Catholic parish (founded on July 1, 2006) formed from the union of the Church of the Resurrection, Fontana and the parish of St. Thomas More, Rialto. We seek to nourish the Gospel of Jesus Christ in all families and people, so that they can rejoice in the love of God in this life and in the life to come. We endeavor to do this by fostering: an authentic Christian Stewardship, the Christian education of our youth and adults through Resurrection Academy and other programs, outreach to the poor and needy, and the celebration of the sacraments, especially the Holy Eucharist.
